The Spirit of God in us draws us to our Father in Heaven. The Spirit of Jesus is the Spirit of the Father. He is in us to fill us with Himself and to replicate the DNA of the Father. Christlikeness is Father-likeness. The Spirit is indispensable to our spiritual formation. The Father sent the Son and the Spirit to draw us to Himself. The One God who is Father, Son and Spirit is pulling us into a beautiful intimacy of communion with the Holy Trinity.
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you” John 14:16-17 (NASB).
