Imagine what it means when God says to us, “Seek My face.” What an invitation! The God of the universe is calling you to look full into His face. Look at His eyes. Look at His smile. Look into His face and see His heart; it beats with love and desire for you. See Him for yourself as the Samaritans did (John 4:42). This is your Lord and Friend calling you to be with Him. The more we look into His face, the less we will be fooled by idols.
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” Psalm 27:7-8 (NASB)
