Drawing near brings us to that sprinkling that cleanses; it is from our High Priest. “Draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” You cannot draw near without being sincere about the process. It is more than a ritual; it involves soul hunger. It is holding in faith to certainties that will take you further than you are now. Drawing near is faith knowing, fully assured, hoping and reaching. Draw near; the Faithful One will not let you down.
“Since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:21-23 (NASB)
