The intercession of Christ is an invitation to draw near. We come close to the One who is praying for us; He is the One who has our best interest at heart. He is for us and not against us. He is cheering us on to become all He prays for us. He calls us not to smite us; He Himself was smitten for us. He calls us to nurture us; He calls us to form us. He is our priest; He is our Bridge to the Father. He is able to deliver, more than able to rescue. Draw near!
“He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25 NASB).
