“Grace to help in time of need”.  We want that; we need that.  However, we must understand the context of that promise is about drawing near.  We draw back when we should draw near.  Come to Him!  He understands your weakness, for He experienced it Himself.  Are your trials great?  His were greater!  Do your temptations seem too much?  He was tempted; He knows how to make you overcome.  Jesus, our priest, is our bridge to God, because He built the bridge by incarnation; He is our fountain of grace and help.

“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:15-16 (NASB)
