“Whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.” He exists; He rewards seekers. Think of it! He wants to make Himself known. He wants to draw near to those who draw near to Him. What do you have to do that is more important than that? A Treasure to discover that is greater than any of our other pursuits. He who is with you is waiting for you. Enoch walked with God and God brought him to Himself. The living God takes away death for His pursuers. He invites us to the fullness of Life; He Himself is the reward, the Pearl of Great Price.
“By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:5-6 (ESV)
