Do not get down on the church: She is Christ’s Bride. Do not get down on the church: The Spirit of the Lord is still speaking to it and empowering it in so many places. Do not give up on the church, for Christ said that He would build it, and the gates of hades would not stand against its forward march. Your inability to see that God is moving is a commentary on you and not on the church. The church does have its problems, and naysayers are one of them. Get on your knees, get in the Spirit’s flow, encourage the good and stop giving press to the bad.
