We live out our relationships in the reality of imperfect and maladjusted people.  We are one of them.  We can’t control what others do or say.   We can’t “fix” others to adjust to us and our family.  People are what they are and they do what they want to do.  Our reaction to difficult people must be to be Christ to such a person no matter what anyone else does or says.  There is grace for that.  There is grace in that.

“A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1 (NASB)
