Ego is self-destructive. Narcissism sees only itself. It cannot face anything that denies its greatness. Failure is someone else’s fault. It will lie and steal to preserve its standing. It will lie while calling the truth a lie. It will rob while calling the robbed one a thief. Ego loves grandiosity; it creates its own reality (the definition of insanity). It lacks the ability to praise others, and only does so when it serves itself. This is why it is self-destructive. Ego will plait its own noose. It will perish by the law of the universe; because, everything turned in on itself implodes or explodes. Jesus said if your goal is to save yourself you will loose it. Ego hates humility as a despicable thing; it cannot worship for it knows nothing higher than itself.
