God’s delay in answering your prayer may be a time of testing your faith and obedience. It may be a time of deepening, a time of maturing, a time of developing perseverance or readiness to better receive the gift. It may not be a denial. It may be that He has something better for you. God often saves us from nightmares by refusing to give us what we think we so badly need. Trust His wisdom. Trust His timing. He is Lord.
