If you don’t know it you will, your physical person is in a state of decline. That can get you down; it can discourage you. Don’t focus on it. The essence of what we are is constantly being renewed in our inner person. How can that be? It is life energy from our Creator-Redeemer. It is the Spirit of Christ in us that enables this kind of growth and renewal. It happens because He who was raised from the dead imparts resurrection energy to His followers.
