When we start the day getting directions from our Father, then we can live that day directed by His Spirit. This is the way that Jesus lived in His relationship with the Father. There must be on our hearts an unceasing prayer and desire to please our Father and to serve Him through the hours of our day. As Christians, we do not desire to live independent, self-determined lives. We are fitting into plans and purposes bigger than we can dream, and we need daily direction.
“Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.” Psalm 119:35 (NIV)
