John said of the Word, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” John 1:3 (KJV). The writer of Hebrews also says, “Through whom also he created the world…he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high” Hebrews 1:2-3 (ESV). It took the Creator to save us. An angel could not do it. We, along with the earth, are fallen, but the Savior has come, is here, and will come, all for this great rescue. The Saving Creator is our hope.
