Invited To Conversation
“Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me! My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” Psalm 27:7-8 (NLT)
Oh my soul, I hear You say to me, “Come and talk with me.” Lord, I have neglected these conversations too much. My talk with You has been shallow. You want me to get down to deep conversation where I prefer to deal with surface things. You are calling me from superficial talk to significant heart-to-heart communication. “LORD, I am coming.” Oh Searching Light, find me out; pull me out from my old hiding places and heal me. Amen!
