Where Is God?
“As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, “Where is this God of yours?” Psalm 42:1-3 (NLT)
“Where is this God of yours?” Oh my soul, He is not isolated from me in my dark times. He is walking with me; He is interceding for me. Oh, Great Shepherd of my soul, You do not abandon Your sheep in their times of distress; this is the time of Your closest watch-care with abundant loving kindness. May I know You are near when I don’t feel You; may I know Your are working good when I can only see bad. May my thirst for You exceed all other appetites. Amen!
