As children we would trace from dot to dot and then discover that we had created a picture. Life is about connecting the dots. It may take us a while to see the picture. Connect the love of God with your own thought that you are unloveable. Connect the mercy of God with your need to be reconciled; you will find peace. Connect your worship to the true God and not to the appeal of idols. Connect His Presence with your loneliness. Connect your ignorance to His wisdom. Connect your brokenness to His healing and wholeness. When you are lost, He is your way through. When you are in despair, He is your hope. When you are confused, He is your wisdom. When you are chained, He is your freedom. He is all this and more. Talk to Him. His Spirit will help you to connect the dots.
Jesus, thank you for helping makes sense of the senseless. Thank you for giving meaning when we had none. You are my all in all. Amen!
