Take off your cloudy glasses when you look at other people, glasses clouded by negativity and prejudgment. When you look at people through lens that are cloudy it blinds you to who they are and to their needs. It blinds you to ministry. It prevents you from giving healing and encouragement. Replace the cloudy lens with the eyes of Jesus. See them as made in the divine image. See them as fellow strugglers. See potential. See grace. See Jesus already at work in them. Give them hospitality. Give them love. Give them hope.
Father, give us eyes to see the world as You see the world. May the pity that You have for all of Your children be also in us for others.
