“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself” (Philippians 3:20–21 NASB). Citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven look to the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is their Savior. Disappointment, defeat and death come in looking somewhere else and to someone else. Our Savior is coming for His citizens; He is going to give us bodies like His glorious body. He alone has the power to do so. His will be an everlasting kingdom which has no end. “Even so, come Lord Jesus!”
