The Risen Christ came to church, and Thomas missed church. Jesus’ Presence is real in the midst of those gathered in His name. He reveals Himself in unique ways that speak to the issues of our lives when we come to worship. Worship is needed to fine tune our priorities and our perspective. When we miss these times we miss something we need for survival. We also miss opportunities to encourage fellow believers.
“And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25 (NASB)
