Joseph and Mary were model parents. Their lives separately and collectively were centered in God and obedience to His will. The first requirement for parenthood is to be God-centered. It is to sing off the same page of loving God, worship and doing His will. This would solve so many problems in our world. It wouldn’t solve them all, because we and our children are fallen. But we are twice fallen if we don’t center our families in our Lord.
