“Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:17b–18 NIV) Satan no longer has the keys to death. He was defeated by the cross. The keys of the evil one have been taken and now they are held by the Good One. The one who “was a murderer and liar from the beginning” has surrendered the keys to the Truth and the Life. Christ is Victor! Jesus Christ is Lord!
