The Universal Cosmic Christ wants all to come to know Him.  It is the wonder of His redemptive love; He wants all to feel, experience and know that love.  Our response, having received that love, is to embrace it as it embraced us.  He wills none to perish (2 Peter 3:9).  He desires the repentance of all; He desires that all would, by free will, turn toward His love.  God’s love does not stop at the moment of death. “The love of God is greater far / Than tongue or pen can ever tell. / It goes beyond the highest star / And reaches to the lowest hell.” (Frederick Lehman). He who was not abandoned in Sheol, went there as Love and to preach love to those there.  His love is tenacious to all (Romans 8:35–39).  He who commanded us to love our enemies loved His.  Even those who did not love God, He pursued in love to Hades, Sheol itself.

20Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.” 21But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”  (Romans 10:20–21 ESV).
