We like talking about walking with our friend Jesus; He is that, just as Abraham was God’s friend. But think for a moment about WALKING WITH KING JESUS; this means He is my Lord and Master. He is not just Savior; He is King, Lord of all. Don’t think you can choose Him as Savior without choosing Him as Lord and King. He is the One who commands and we are the disciples who obey because we love Him. He is the One who directs us through His Spirit if we are attuned. Being in the Kingdom is walking with the King, being a Kingdom subject as well as an ambassador for His cause in the world. Walking with the King means that we have business to do in this world.
