Unsettling times prepare us for God to plant something new in our souls. It is certain there is going to be uncertainty. Uncertainty is the stuff of life; uncertainty is certain. It is not easy to walk away from the comfortable to the uncomfortable, from the certain to the uncertain, from glib answers to real struggle. Faith is built when we trust God in situations where we have no idea what the outcome will be. We may skip along in the light, but we find we must cleave to the “Unseen Hand” in the dark. Hold on! Keep you eyes on Jesus!
“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you,” Jehoshaphat, 2 Chronicles 20:12b (NIV).
