“Lord, the thorns that the ground brought forth in Your creation have often caused us great pain. Yes we know, You wore a crown of thorns. May we not complain.
“Sometimes our enemies form hooks to catch us in some way; we read the Book and they did You that way also.
“Sometimes saboteurs try to destroy what You are making in our lives; but it is You designing our good out of it all.
“Sometimes folks put stumbling blocks in our way, but You have become our Cornerstone to step over these things.
“Sometimes our enemies aim their arrows to hit us in the heart, but You Oh Lord are our shield.
“Sometimes traps and snares are laid by the Accuser, but You teach us how to overcome him.
“Sometimes we look and see that Death is on our trail; but we look at Your empty tomb and have no fear.
“Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen!”
