Jesus is life’s foundation stone. He is the Rock on which you are to build your life. “For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (I Corinthians 3:11). In Christ we can build solid on what is solid. Satan would have you build on unstable rubble and shifting sand. Examine yourself! Is Jesus really the foundation on which you are building your life? Are you acting on Jesus’ teachings? Are His words important to you? Are they constantly transforming you? Rock or sand? The storm is coming!
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. “And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
