“The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NRSV). The context of this verse was an offering being received for poor Christians in Jerusalem. However, this agricultural analogy can apply to sowing the seeds of the gospel of the Kingdom. The world is fed simply because seeds multiply. The world needs the Bread of Heaven. Sow it generously, while praying for a bountiful harvest.
“Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” Matthew 13:8-9 (NLT2)
