Good drivers watch their blindspot as well as being aware when they are in someone else’s blindspot. In our spiritual lives we often have blindspots, blind to our own weaknesses and vulnerabilities. We can be sure that the enemy of our soul is fully aware of these. The way we can be cognizant of these blindspots is to be more conscious of our own hearts and minds. By opening ourselves to the Word and listening to the Spirit we can see ourselves more clearly. Be sure that our Father knows us better than we know ourselves. He is ever calling us to the image of His Son.
“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT)
