Blessings given become blessings returned.  You cannot give a blessing from your heart without receiving it back.  Jesus even commanded that we give blessing in return for the curses that might be hurled at us, even in that case a blessing comes back to us.  The world says, if someone hits you hard then hit them back even harder; get even with your enemies and banish them when you can.  That is devilish and is the very way Jesus told us not to be.  If you cheer that, or like that, there is something desperately sick in you that needs healing.  Start being a fountain of blessing and you will be blessed and you will be healed.  It can also be healing to the receiver.

“And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!  Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water?  Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring.”  James 3:10-12 (NLT)
