There are those who can cite chapter and verse for most any subject. They pride themselves in knowing their Bibles. Yet, they may not know the Spirit of truth; they may know only the letter. Their knowledge of the Bible has given them self-satisfaction but no real joy. They hurl scriptures like stones and do not know how to pass it out as bread. They pride themselves in being biblical, but Christlikeness somehow has never been their primary pursuit. They are informed but not transformed. They have seen law, rules, and principles but they missed the Living Word, Jesus Himself.
