Our need to justify ourselves and to be right is the source of much of the unhealthy drama in this world. We do not have to be right, and we do not have to win. We do not need to plead our case constantly before men. God alone knows the heart. He knows what makes us tick; He even knows why we get ticked. Pleasing Him is what matters. Having a heart of love is what He wants from us, and that includes love for our accusers and detractors.
