Christ not only came to live among us, He became one of us. He took upon Himself our full humanity, with all of its pain, suffering and dying. He let it take Him all the way to the cross. He showed us in that process how a human is to live and die. He rose from the dead and defeated our old enemy death. Because of His advent we know how to live. Because of Him we partake of the life of heaven even while living in this world.
