Anger is a part of the human condition.  There are kinds of angry that spring up in us that must be put to death; other kinds must be laid aside.  Anger tends to take over our mind and emotions.  Anger must not control us, even if we feel it is justified.  Anger hurts our relationship with fellow humans.  There is a righteous anger that can be expressed as a component of our love, but if love is not in it, let it go.

“But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.” Colossians 3:8 (NASB)
