Be at peace with God and delight in Him; He delights in you. Be at peace with your fellow humans and celebrate them; they are the children of our common Father. Be at peace with the creation and enjoy it; it points to the Creator. Be at peace with yourself and accept yourself as a part of God’s order, for He has set His love on you and you are His beloved.
Father, the world teaches us that we should always be at war with some enemy or another. You sent Your Son to teach us the ways of peace by loving our enemies. May we not allow hostility, hate and contempt to disrupt the way of peace. Oh, Prince of Peace, show us Your ways.
