Moses wanted assurance for the journey to Canaan. “And He said, ‘My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.’ Then he said to Him, ‘If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here’” Ex 33:14-15 (NASB). The journey would have its perils and its dangers. Life is uncertain. We never know what will befall us, nor do we know when it will. This is our plight. However, we are assured in Scripture, we are not alone. If His Presence goes with us, it is enough.
