In the Letter of James we are invited to ask for wisdom. In the Proverbs we are to seek wisdom. There is a wisdom that is higher than ours. It can touch our imagination and inspire us. It can be the source of new thoughts and ideas. This wisdom which is above us and beyond us is available to us. Sometimes it is hard to see and hear it, when our little thoughts eclipse it. But Wisdom is there. We are to ask for it and seek it.
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 (NASB)
