The seventy were commissioned to go out and announce the Kingdom of God. Jesus said to them, ”Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves” (Luke 10:3, NASB). Crazy? Off the charts crazy! Counterintuitive? You bet! The Jesus way? Absolutely! Sometimes lambs convert wolves to become lambs. Sometimes lambs can only show wolves how lambs die. Sometimes the persecuting wolf sees it, turns to the Lamb of God and joins the army of the lambs. The death of Stephen the lamb pricked the heart of Saul the wolf!
