He is our Great High Priest, able forever to intercede for us.

  • He knows our limitations.
  • He was tempted like we are tempted.
  • He was hurt like we hurt.
  • He was forsaken, mistreated, lied about, and rejected.
  • He has pity on us.
  • He stoops to our weakness because He lived His life in weakness.
  • He feels our infirmities.
  • He sympathizes with us.
  • He knows our thoughts.
  • He knows our struggles.
  • He is the Son of Man, the Son of human.

His intercession does not excuse our sins nor give us a license to continue in sin.  Rather it is His prayer that we overcome and resist temptations just as He did. He is praying for your victory.  He is praying for you to be an overcomer in every hour of temptation.
