The Levites were not given a tribal portion in the land, because the Lord was their portion. How we crave a place that is our own! We spend a lifetime carving out a portion and staking our claims. If I know that the Lord is my portion, then I possess all things. I can then hold things loosely and hold Him firmly. To be in Christ is to inherit all things, knowing real wealth.
