He has come!  He is here!  He will come!  He has come, born of the Virgin Mary, as the promised descendent of David to set up an everlasting kingdom.  He is here in the Presence of the Holy Spirit.  He lives in the midst of the gathered people of God, and He lives in the individual members of the Body of Christ.  He will come back as was promised to the sky gazing disciples who watched Him go up.  Blessed Hope!  Glorious Day!

O come, thou dayspring, come and cheer

Our spirits by Thine advent here;

Disperse the gloomy clouds of night,

And death’s dark shadows put to flight.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel

Shall come to thee, O Israel!
