Sarah laughed at the absurdity of an old woman having a baby. So did Abraham. Sometimes in our despair, answers look absurd. But remember, God can do what we cannot do. We are to trust Him for a way when it seems there is no way. The story of the Lord who can give a baby to a barren woman inspires us to hope. Fruitfulness is something that comes from God. The Lord brings possibilities out of impossibilities. Sometimes we just want to laugh at what God has done.
“Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” Genesis 18:14 (NASB)
