In spite of our believing that we always stand up for right, there are times when we do not.  In real day to day living, when peer pressure is barreling in on us like a big truck we often get it wrong.  It is hard to speak up when the majority opinion is against us.  It is hard to speak up for the weak, the abused, the neglected and the earth itself when we know we are going to be branded with an unflattering name.  It is hard to speak up to long held assumptions that are not biblical or Christlike.

“You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice.” Exodus 23:2 (NASB)
