You may not be able to leave your descendants land and wealth, but you can leave them a godly example. Unearned wealth often destroys those who receive it. But there is something you can pass on that is greater then the measure of money. Faithfulness is the big thing you can do for your legacy. You may not have received a godly heritage, but by the grace of God, you can leave one behind for someone else to follow and find their way home.
“The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; I have a goodly heritage.” Psalm 16:5-6 (NRSV)
