The heart’s problem is that it is fixed on self-love and not abounding love for God and others. Love is what establishes the heart of the Father’s children. Love is the health of the soul and spirit. It is a healing influence in relationships. Loving God by serving others keeps the heart fixed and focused. Father, I desire that my heart be fixed on You as my center rest. Constantly teach me this focus by Your Spirit. Amen!
“And may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all men, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts, unblamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.” (I Thessalonians 3:12-13)
