Jesus is worthy because God has exalted Him and “given Him a name which is above every name” (Php 2:9). He is worthy because He lived out the vocation given to Him by His Father. He is worthy because of His holiness. He is worthy because of His sacrificial death as the Lamb of God. He is worthy because He cares for the sheep. He does not rule as one hungry for power and vain glory. He humbly seeks the glory of His Father. He actively seeks the good of the governed. He alone is worthy!
