Daniel prayed three times a day in his upper room through a window that faced Jerusalem (Dan 6:10).  Prayer is where we open an upper window toward God.  It is through the upper window that we are resupplied and reenforced.  Strength returns.  Perspective is gained.  Hope is restored.  Patience secured.  Courage found.  Grace comes.  The upper room has an upper window.  The Dove will fly to you there.

“Now when Daniel knew that the document was signed, he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open toward Jerusalem); and he continued kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying and giving thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously” Daniel 6:10 (NASB).  After you have been to the upper window you need fear no harm from what threatens to destroy you, enemies or hungry lions (Dan 6:16-28).
