Jesus gives room for doubt. He does not overpower us, leaving no choice. All of the eleven eventually moved form doubt to faith. There was a point in which they all doubted. Jesus showed great patience, and still does, with those who are moving to a settled place of assurance. He is big enough to handle all our doubts and struggles. The person who has moved through doubt to faith has become a true believer.
“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.” Matthew 28:16-17 (NKJV)
