God is waiting on us to use the freedom He gave us to initiate something good.  When we see needs, we are not to say, “What is God going to do?” Instead, we are to say, “What am I going to do for God in this situation?”  We are already commissioned.  We have eyes to see and ears to hear.  We have gifts to use.  We certainly never attempt these things in our own strength.  We seek to be empowered by grace.  God has released us to do His work.  We head off to Asia unless the Spirit stops us and sends us to Macedonia (Acts 16:6-10).

Father, forgive us for neglecting what you have already commissioned us to do, while our egos wait for special guidance.
