Prayer is to attune your soul to the music of the universe, so often unheard, but never silent. It enables us to sense the rhythms of the Spirit, to hear the cords of the Son’s intercession for us, to have our heart beat in time with God’s heart. Hearing these sweet sounds through prayer will give melody to our own heart and content to our lyrics. It will give us a song in the midst of life’s challenges and tests.
