When Jesus called Peter and the others from their boats, He said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” Matthew 4:19.  They followed him for an amazing 3 1/2 years.  Then it ended.  They went back to their nets.   The resurrected Jesus came back to the sea shore to call them again.  He says to Peter, “Follow Me”  (John 21:19, 22).  Now he sees that it means something deeper.  Now it means, “feed my sheep and my lambs,” followed by death on a cross.  Jesus is unrelenting with the command, “Follow Me.”
